Dr. Perry Collins is a Licensed Professional Counselor, and a state board approved supervisor. He holds a BA in Psychology from Lubbock Christian University, two Master’s Degrees in Counseling Psychology and Public Administration from Angelo State University, and a Doctorate of Education degree in Counselor Education from Texas Tech University. He was on the graduate faculty at Texas Tech and serves as the Program Coordinator for the Graduate Counseling Program at Wayland Baptist University in Plainview, Texas.
Dr. Collins has advanced training in infant/early childhood mental health assessment and treatment. He is also a licensed psychological associate, a nationally certified counselor, and a Texas Department of Aging and Disabilities certified psychologist. Dr. Collins has experience with children and adolescents as well as working with senior adults. He has experience in group counseling as well. He has worked with couples and families and has experience with depression, anxiety, substance abuse, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and eating disorders.
