Monica Lara, a Plainview native, earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2021 and, in May 2026, earned her Master of Science in Nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner concentration from Lubbock Christian University in Lubbock, Texas. Ms. Lara is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and bilingual in English and Spanish. She brings extensive clinical experience and a passion for preventive medicine, chronic disease management, patient education, and improving healthcare access in underserved communities.
