Dr. Murguia was born in Guadalajara, Mexico, and was a child when her family immigrated to the United States. She and her family settled in Amarillo, Texas. She grew up in Amarillo and graduated from Palo Duro High School. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Biology at West Texas A&M in Canyon, Texas and then completed her DDS at Texas A&M University Baylor College of Dentistry in 2017. Since graduating dental school, she has volunteered her time and talent by providing dental care to the underserved in Mexico and Amarillo at Heal The City.
